Sprints
So you think you're a Craig Lowndes or the next Mark Skaife. You sit in front of the xbox and negotiate the track at brake neck speed, without fear. What about getting off the couch and have a go for real, without the high costs. It’s not as hard as you might think.
Yes you do need a car but in most cases your average road car can be sufficient.
The B.L.C.C. participates in Multi Club sprint days at either the Sandown or Winton race tracks. IIt involves you driving the track at speed against the clock. Other competitors are on the track at the same time but staggered starts put you usually on your own to be able to have a go.
There are some basic requirements to bring your car up to standard but the Club scrutineers can put you in the picture so you can enjoy the experience.
